HOUSE, INT. DAY
Two men, ED ZEDDMORE and HARRY SPANGLER are sitting in old-fashioned armchairs, in front of a fireplace.
HARRY: (in a artificially mysterious way, sliding his finger along the edge of a crystal glass) Hello. I am Harry Spangler.
ED: And I am Ed Zeddmore. Now, if you received this tape, you must be some sort of bigwig network executive. Well, today is your lucky day, mister –
HARRY: Because the unsolicited pilot you are about to watch is the bold new future of (shapes quotation marks with his fingers) “reality TV”.
ED: Mm, we know you’ve had it hard during the crippling writers’ strike.
HARRY: Lazy fat cats.
ED: Who needs writers when you got guys like us?
HARRY motions his arm to turn the light down.
ED: (holding a skull in his hands, trying hard to look mysterious and scary) Our team faced horrible horrors to bring you the footage that will change your world forever. So, strap in for the scariest hour in the history of television…
HARRY: In the history of your life.
ED: Strap in for…
Both ED and HARRY (making dramatic faces): GHOSTFACERS!

Ghost, Ghostfacers! We face the ghosts when the others will not, we’re
Ghost, Ghostfacers! Stay in the kitchen when the kitchen gets hot!
Ghost, Ghostfacers! We face the nightmare, we face the dread
Ghost, Ghostfacers! We face the faceless, we face the dead!
When you trip and fall,
Into the supernatural
We’re who you’re gonna call
Coz we face them all!
Ghost, Ghostfacers! We face the faceless, we face the dead! We’re
Ghost, Ghostfacers…

CUT TO: EXT STREET, DAY
ED and HARRY are getting out of their car, moving slowly in a fake slow-motion effect, which is ruined by a car going at normal speed behind them. ED nods to HARRY, who answers the same way. Over this, you can hear ED and HARRY speaking.
ED: You know, it can get kinda hard balancing our daytime careers with our nighttime missions.
HARRY: Yeah, but Ed and I pretty much call the shots at the Kinko’s where we work. So we can usually pretty much get off by 6.00, every night.
[The image still shows ED and HARRY walking, with their names and titles appearing on screen: ED ZEDDMORE, TEAM LEADER, and HARRY SPENGLER, TEAM CO-LEADER, DEMOLITIONS EXPERT. ]
ED: Yeah, 6 o’clock.
CUT TO: EXT GARDEN, DAY
ED: It used to be just, you know, you and I taking on the cases. Just Harry and me.
HARRY: Two lone wolves.
ED: And two lone wolves need, uh… Other wolves.
HARRY nods in agreement.

ED (walking towards CORBETT, who is putting some pictures up on a whiteboard): Corbett, what we got, buddy?
CORBETT: I’m just putting up some ---
ED (gesturing to the board): Yeah, this gotta go up there, this gotta go here, gotta see the whole field. Markers, erasers, good job.
INSERT - CORBETT, carrying two big brown paper bags full of groceries. He sorting them up while speaking.
CORBETT: I first saw Ed, uh, putting up flyers down at the outlet mall in Scogan. So I read one and I thought to myself: ‘Huh. Where do ghosts come from?’ And now, here I am.
BACK TO GHOSTFACERS HQ; HARRY tickles MAGGIE, who punches him back.
HARRY: Oh, ow! Ed, your sister’s abusing staff.
ED: That’s adopted sister, thank you very much.
INSERT - MAGGIE speaking to the camera. Her name and titles, MAGGIE ZEDDMORE, RESEARCH TEAM, ADOPTED, appear on screen while she speaks. She is fixing some camera equipment.

BACK TO: INT. GHOSTFACERS HQ, NIGHT
ED goes to the board while the rest of the team is sitting at the table, listening. SPRUCE is filming with a hand-held camera.
ED: Okay people, let cut the chatter and get on a mission. Okay.(writes on the board) Morton House. (creepy images of the house are shown)One of our big fish. (a note saying GHOSTFACER HQ 7:15 PM RESEARCH BRIEFING appears on the screen) All right, we all know the legend. Every four years, supposedly this becomes the most haunted place in America. (more pictures of the house are shown).
HARRY: The leap-year ghost, some call it. The ghost returns at midnight just as February 29th begins.
CORBETT is serving mugs of coffee to the rest of the team.
MAGGIE: And no one has ever stayed the night, right?
HARRY: Yeah, well, every testimony we dug up, every eyewitness has cut and run well before midnight.
ED: (holding his mug)That’s all about to change, isn’t it, baby?
HARRY: Absolutely true, Ed. Absolutely true.
ED: (tasting his coffee) Mmm this is good.
CORBETT: French vanilla, because the other day you said how much you liked it, so…
ED: Thank you.
CORBETT: (slightly awkward)You are welcome.
INSERT – HARRY in his car
HARRY: I like Corbett, I do. Um… Shows up early, does his job, a lot of good hustle out ---
CORBETT knocks on the car window and waves to the camera. HARRY waves back, looking annoyed. When CORBETT is gone, HARRY resumes speaking.
HARRY: I think he’s got the hots for Ed, and that could spell trouble for the whole team.
INSERT – CORBETT speaking about ED.
CORBETT: Ed’s kind of the more rugged, with that really golden… Beautiful sort of beard, very nice (blushes a bit). Uh, and Harry’s nice.
BACK TO: INT. GHOSTFACERS HQ, NIGHT
ED: (still at the board) Twenty-ninth is this Friday, Facers. We want this mission, we gotta move on it now, or guess what, he’s gone for another four years.
The “wall” the board was against starts moving, as it is the garage door and ED and MAGGIE’s father is trying to open it. The board crashes to the floor and confusion ensues.
ED: What’s this?
HARRY: Wait a minute!
MAGGIE: Watch out! Oh.
The camera shows a man, Mr Zeddmore, sitting in his car, waiting to put it inside the garage.
ED: Oh Dad, come on! (keeps shouting indistinct stuff at his father)
HARRY: Let’s just cut the cameras. We don’t need that, we don’t need this part.

CUT TO: EXT MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
ED, HARRY, MAGGIE, SPRUCE and CORBETT are moving towards the house.
ED: (whispering) Stay low. Follow formation. (they reach the fence surrounding the house) Okay, as expected. (talking to the camera) A lot of people have tried to break into the Morton House. The local authorities have just gotten fed up.
HARRY: (talking to the camera) Looks like the cops have got this place pretty well fenced off.
ED and HARRY take big pliers and get ready to cut the chain locking the gate.
MAGGIE: Wait, didn’t you guys get, like, a permit or something?
ED: A permit?
HARRY: That’s a good idea for next time.
ED: Yeah. (moves toward the gate)
A car is heard in the background.
SPRUCE: Car, car!
They run in a disorganized manner.
ED: Shh shh! Flashlights off!
They go hide, panting, in the bushes.
MAGGIE: Be totally still.
Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re an American Band” is blaring from the car, which the viewers recognize as DEAN’s Impala. The car slowly moves away.
HARRY: It’s okay, not cops, just hicks.
CORBETT: Not cops, not cops, Ed.
ED: (cutting the chain) I got it, I got it, I got it.
HARRY: Ed’s got it, Ed’s got it.
ED: Guys, let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!
CUT TO: INSIDE MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
ED: Still, be quiet. (looking around with his flashlight) There’s the kitchen sink.
HARRY: Copy that. Alright, everybody. Ghostfacers, let’s line up, everybody.
ED: We’re gonna set up camp right here. This is Command Center 1.
HARRY: We’ll call this the Eagle’s Nest.
“Hocus Pocus “ by Focus is playing while the Ghostfacers are planting cameras and equipment all around the house.
CORBETT: (talking to ED through the camera) Hallway Cam 1, up and running.
ED: (answering from the Command Center) Looking good, Corbett.
CORBETT: (chuckles) Copy that, Ed.
ED: (looking embarrassed) Uh… Uh, you’re welcome. Alright, Spruce, how are we doing there, buddy?
SPRUCE: (on camera) Checking basement camera 2, mein Führer.
ED: Maggie, I got no visual on you, Maggie.
MAGGIE: (appearing on camera) This is Maggie, do you copy?
ED: There you are, hello. Harry, are you alive?
HARRY: (setting camera) Upstairs den, camera 1.
ED: Looking good. I can smell syndication. All right fellas, let’s regroup at the Eagle’s Nest.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
Note saying MORTON HOUSE, 10:40 PM, BASE CAMP appears on screen as the Ghostfacers regroup.
SPRUCE: Alright, Spangler.
HARRY: Right there. Battery check. (all checking batteries)
ED: Battery check.
MAGGIE, CORBETT and SPRUCE: Check.
ED: Okay.
MAGGIE: Look at Corbett!
CORBETT comes into the room wearing full on equipment, with 3 cameras included.
SPRUCE: Yo, Corbett, dude!
HARRY: Looking good, Corbett.
SPRUCE: You’re Robocop.
CORBETT: Robocop? You think I look like Robocop?
ED: Everybody, bring it in. (they regroup) We’ve all been here before. Standard walk-through. Team one, West.
CORBETT: Okay.
ED: Team two, East.
HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE: Got it.
ED: Spin the tires, light the fires. Ghostfacers on three.
They all put one hand to the center of the circle.

ED and CORBETT peek inside a room.
ED: (whispering) Let’s go in.
CORBETT: Okay. Okay.
ED: Hello? My name’s Ed.
ED goes to a closed door and opens it cautiously.
CORBETT: Careful.
ED: Watch your back. Okay, okay. Look over there. (looking at a particularly dark corner, then checking his EMF) What’s your name? 0.3, 0.29
CORBETT: (sounding really scared and slightly panting) Is there an entity or entities here with us now? Can you give us a sign of your presence?
ED: You gotta breathe, buddy.
CORBETT: I can’t breathe.
ED: Corbett, you ---
A noise is heard somewhere in the background, and CORBETT starts whimpering.
ED: Corbett, night vision. (starts to walk to where the sound came from)
CORBETT: Okay. Okay, okay, got it. Okay. Okay.
ED: Calm down. Breathe. Alright? (putting hands in a calming gesture)
CORBETT: What?
ED: Calm the whirlwinds of your mind.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
Note saying 2nd FLOOR: TEAM 2 – HARRY, SPRUCE, MAGGIE
HARRY, MAGGIE , and SPRUCE (who is holding the main camera and is therefore less seen on screen) are walking along a scary hallway, holding cameras, flashlights and various equipment.
HARRY: (talking to SPRUCE’s camera) We’re doing a basic EMF, EVP, temp-flux sweep. Looks like we got all of our ducks in a row here. (checks a room)
SPRUCE’s camera starts flickering.
SPRUCE: Whoa.
HARRY: What?
SPRUCE: Oh, this camera’s fritzing or something. (turns the camera to look at it) That’s weird. It’s gone.
HARRY: (goes to a closed door) Get this, get this. (he tries to kick the door open but fails)
SPRUCE: Turn the knob.
HARRY: (while MAGGIE turns the knob) All right, that’s a good idea. (looks inside and runs away screaming) Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
SPRUCE: (looking inside and seeing a dead rat on the floor) It’s just a rat, dude.
INSERT: – HARRY in his car, talking to CORBETT’s camera
HARRY: I don’t really like rats. They’re gross. Rats are like, the rats of the world.
BACK TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT, 2nd Floor
HARRY: What, was that a ---? Was that an apparition? Was that a spectral? A 0.4? What -- What do we got? Because the EMP was just off the –
SPRUCE throws the dead rat at HARRY.
HARRY: Oh God! Oh, that’s so not funny, Spruce!
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
TEAM 1
ED and CORBETT are going to check where the noise came from.
CORBETT: (panting) Oh God. Okay, it was just – I think it was just this branch. Okay, in the window. This is spooky, man.
ED: It’s pretty spooky.
CORBETT turns and sees two human shapes. He screams. The figures are actually SAM and DEAN, who switch on their flashlights.
DEAN: Freeze! Police officers! Don’t move!
CORBETT: Oh God!
SAM: Alright, alright, take it easy. Take it easy.
DEAN: Let’s see some identification.
SAM: Come on! Let’s see some ID.
CORBETT: Why, are we --- Are we under arrest? (hands ID to DEAN)
ED: We’re unarmed.
CORBETT: Oh God. Oh God.
DEAN: (reading the ID) You want to explain that weirdo outfit, Mr., uh, Corbett?
CORBETT: (still shocked) Uh…
ED: Whoa. I know you.
DEAN: (skeptical) Yeah, sure you do, give me some identification.
ED: Whoa whoa, hold on a second. I know the both of you guys. Yeah.
CORBETT: What?
ED: Yeah.
SAM: (realizing) Holy ****! (SAM’s swearing is covered by a BLEEP and a little skull logo covers his mouth)
DEAN: What?
SAM: Uh, West Texas, the Tulpa we had to take out? Those two goofballs that almost got us killed? Uh, the Hellhounds or something?
DEAN: ****me! (another BLEEP and skull logo)
ED: Yeah, we’re not Hellhounds anymore, Okay? Didn’t test that well.
CORBETT: Ed, what’s going on?
ED: They’re not cops, buddy. No, not at all.
DEAN: Ed, Ed, thought you had a partner, too, didn’t you? A different guy?
ED: Oh yeah.
DEAN: Is he around here somewhere?
ED: Oh yeah, yeah yeah, he’s uh… Running around, chasing ghosts, doing what we do.
DEAN: Okay. Listen. You and Rambo need to get your girlfriends and get out of here.
ED: (laughs, then) All right. Listen here, chisel chest, okay? We were here first. We’ve already set up base camp, we beat you.
DEAN: (turns to SAM and says mockingly) They were here first. (chuckles)
ED: (happy) Uh-uh.
DEAN grabs ED by the collar and pins him against the wall.
ED: Oh God!
DEAN: Ed?
ED: Yeah?
DEAN: Where is your partner?
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
Note saying 2nd FLOOR: BEDROOM, TEAM 2 – HARRY, SPRUCE, MAGGIE
HARRY, SPRUCE, MAGGIE are still exploring the 2nd floor, checking their equiment.
HARRY: 10.6, 10.7. Guys, the EMF is really spiking here.
MAGGIE: Temperature’s down like 11 degrees.
HARRY: Alright, alright. Keep your eyes peeled. This could be it. Maggie, can I get a reading in here, please?
SPRUCE’s camera is flickering again.
SPRUCE: Something keeps messing with the chip. I don’t know what’s going on here.
A ghostly FIGURE appears, dressed in a suit, hat and glasses that are quite old-fashioned.
SPRUCE: Guys, guys, guys!
HARRY: What is this?
MAGGIE gasps.
FIGURE: (speaking to someone or something we can’t see) Look, buddy, I’m sorry. That’s it. I’m telling you, that’s all the money I ---
The FIGURE is shot by someone we can’t see and screams, then disappears as quickly as it has appeared.
SPRUCE films MAGGIE, who is grabbing HARRY’s arm, and HARRY; they look very shocked.
FADE TO BLACK WITH “GHOSTFACERS” INTERTITLE.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
BASE CAMP
ED, CORBETT, SAM and DEAN come back to the Ghostfacers’ Base camp.
DEAN: What’re you going at the Morton House, Ed? Huh? On leap year? What are you thinking?
ED: We’re here to spend the night, okay? It’s for our TV show.
SAM: What? Great. Perfect. (resumes inspecting the surroundings)
CORBETT: Yeah, nobody’s ever spent the night before.
DEAN: Uh, actually, yeah, they have.
ED: Uh, we’ve never heard of them.
DEAN: Yeah, you know why? Because the ones that have, haven’t lived to talk about it!
ED: (laughs) Oh, come on, I don’t believe you!
SAM: (grabbing his bag and pulling papers out of it) Look. Missing person reports going back almost a half century. (reads) Uh, John Graham, stayed on a dare: gone, Julie Wilkerson: gone, there are tons more. All of them came to just stay the night through, always on a leap year. The only body they ever found was the last owner, Freeman Daggett.
ED: (looking through the papers) These look legit.
SAM: They are legit. Look, and we ain’t got much time here, buddy. Starting at midnight, your friends are going to die.
At that moment, HARRY, SPRUCE and MAGGIE arrive running and screaming to the Eagle’s Nest.
HARRY: Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Guys! Guys! Oh my God! Oh my God, we got one! Corbett, we saw one, we saw one!
CORBETT: What?
HARRY: It was a full apparition! It was a Class 4, a spectral illumination.
MAGGIE: It was absolutely amazing!
HARRY: It --- Hey, aren’t those the ********* (another BLEEP and skull logo) from Texas?
ED: Yes.
DEAN and SAM are confused by the agitation for a moment, then take the control again.
DEAN: Alright, let’s have this reunion across the street, guys. Come on.
HARRY: What are you doing here?
DEAN: Come on, we’ll get you ice cream, our treat. What do you say? Let’s go.
MAGGIE is putting the images on the monitors while ED is trying to talk to HARRY.
ED: Guys guys guys guys! I think you should listen –
HARRY: No no, look, Ed, Ed!
MAGGIE: No, no, no, no, look at this! The honest-to-God proof, all right? (shows the images on the monitors to ED and CORBETT)
MAGGIE, ED, HARRY, CORBETT and SPRUCE are all cluttered around the computer screen, and SAM and DEAN watch over their shoulders.
ED: (as the ghost appears on the screen) Are you kidding me?
HARRY: Yeah, no, not kidding you.
SPRUCE: We got ghosts.
MAGGIE: So real.
ED: What kind of readings did we get?
HARRY: Uh it was a 10.9.
ED: 10.9?
HARRY: Yeah, it was a 10.9, it was almost 11. It came out and I was like, “What’s going on?” and I was, I was like –
MAGGIE: Hold on, hold on, watch this part. (shows the part when the ghost gets shot)
CORBETT: Oh!
HARRY: He got blasted. It was crazy!
MAGGIE: Oh my God.
SAM and DEAN walk to a corner to talk privately and SPRUCE follows them, while ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and CORBETT are still talking excitedly about their video. A subtitle appears to show what they’re saying.
SAM: Think we were off on this? That was just a death echo.
DEAN: Yeah, but what’s it doing here? Did anybody get shot here?
SAM: No, not that I could find.
SPRUCE: What’s a death echo?
SAM: (talking to SPRUCE) Look, if we got a problem here, that ghost ain’t it.
ED: (in the background, still about the video) Yeah, that’s real. Like, that happened.
SPRUCE: (repeating the question SAM didn’t answer) What’s a death echo?
DEAN: Echoes are trapped in a loop, okay? They keep replaying how they died over and over again, usually in the place where they were ganked. It’s about as dangerous as a scary movie.
SAM: So, maybe the echo’s not dangerous, but maybe something else is. (they walk back towards the others)
DEAN: You’re right. Alright, we need to get out of here guys, come on. Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go! Pack it up!
SAM: Let’s go guys, time is running out.
They all start chattering.
MAGGIE: Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, but what about our equipment? What are we gonna --?
HARRY: We got the material, we got all kinds of stuff. We’ll… We’ll make you guys recurring guest stars!
ED: (screams) Wait! Wait! Wait! (they all shut up) Where is Corbett?
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
UPSTAIRS – CORBETT
CORBETT is walking alone with his cameras and flashlights.
CORBETT: I wish to communicate with the restless spirits here. (his flashlight stops working and the cameras are flickering a bit) Oh. Lights out. I think I got night-vision here. (he turns his camera to look at it and switches on the night-vision; just behind him, a ghost appears) That’s better.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
BASE CAMP
ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE are arguing with SAM and DEAN because they want to go look for CORBETT.
ED: (shoved against the wall by DEAN) No man left behind!
Their argument is cut by the sound of CORBETT screaming desperately upstairs.
SPRUCE: That was Corbett!
MAGGIE, HARRY and ED: Corbett!
MAGGIE: Corbett don’t worry!
ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE rush upstairs.
SAM and DEAN: No, no, no, we’ll get him, come back! Guys!
SAM: Guys! ****! (BLEEP and skull logo)
SPRUCE: Where are you dude? Tell us where you are!
HARRY: Corbett!
CORBETT: (dragged down a flight of stairs, screams) Let me go! Aaah! Guys!
ED: (in his walkie-talkie) Corbett, you need to come back, Corbett!
CORBETT is still screaming, dragged by the ghost.
The others arrive in the room CORBETT was in before he was dragged.
DEAN: Hey, hey, hey!
The words “MORTON HOUSE 11:59 PM” appear on screen.
Suddenly, CORBETT’s scream stops. At that exact moment, the time written on screen changes to “12:00 AM”.
SAM arrives in the room. The screaming resumes. Panic starts.
SAM: Hey, Corbett’s -- He’s not here.
DEAN: Let’s go, let’s go back.
HARRY: No, no, that was Corbett! Didn’t you hear that?
DEAN: Sam, get them out of here!
SAM: Let’s go, come on!
DEAN: Here we go, here we go. Keep it moving, keep it moving.
SAM: Looking good.
ED: Corbett?
SAM: All right.
DEAN: Hey, come on, let’s go.
ED: Hey!
SAM: Watch him, watch him!
DEAN: Take a left. Move, move! Let’s go. Turn it off.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
BASE CAMP
Note saying “MORTON HOUSE 12:04 AM, FEBRUARY 29TH”
DEAN and SAM have forced ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE back to base camp.
ED: (shocked) Oh, God, what’s happened? Oh God. He’s gone! He just disappeared.
HARRY and MAGGIE are sitting in front of the computers.
HARRY: Okay, let’s just go through all the angles, let’s go through all the cameras we have.
SAM and DEAN go to check the door.
SAM: It’s 12:04, Dean, you good? You happy?
DEAN: Yeah, I am happy.
SAM: “Let’s go hunt the Morton House” you said “That’s our Grand Canyon”.
DEAN: Sam, I don’t wanna hear it.
SAM: You got two months left. Instead, we’re gonna die tonight. (takes a chair and smashes it against the door)
SPRUCE: Whoa, whoa! (they all go to the door)What the hell is going on, guys?
SAM: I’ll tell you what’s going on! Every door, every window, I’m guessing every exit out of this house, they’re all sealed.
MAGGIE: Why-- Why are they sealed?
DEAN: It’s a supernatural lockdown, okay? Whatever took Corbett doesn’t want us to leave. And it’s no death echo, this is a bad mother. It wants us scared.
MAGGIE: Or it just wants us.
ED goes to take MAGGIE’s hand. SPRUCE’s camera starts to get blurry again.
SPRUCE: Uh, guys, the camera’s fritzing again.
ED: Whoa. Whoa, guys, the EMF’s starting to spike. This is a big one.
MAGGIE: Ed?
SAM: Everybody stay close, there’s something coming. (they all regroup)
MAGGIE: Guys.
SPRUCE: (looking at the blurry image from the camera) Uh, whoa.
ED: Okay, let’s -- Let’s just stay –
Another ECHO appears in the middle of the room.
ALL: Whoa!
DEAN: Guys, it this the same echo you guys saw earlier?
SPRUCE: No, it’s a different guy.
DEAN: Multiple echoes? What the hell is going on?
SAM: Beats me.
DEAN: Okay. Alright, alright, alright. (he approaches the ECHO) Uh, hey, Buddy! Hey, hey! (goes to face the ECHO) Wake up. You’re dead! Hello?
HARRY: What’s he doing? What’s he doing?
SAM: It’s rare, but sometimes you can shock an echo out of its loop if you can talk to the part that’s still human. (DEAN is still screaming at the ECHO) But usually you have to have some kind of connection to the deceased.
DEAN: Come on, wake up! Be dead! Huh?
A weird honking noise coming from nowhere in particular starts.
DEAN: Hey, hey!
ED: You guys hear that?
HARRY: What’s that sound?
ED: You guys hear that?
SPRUCE: What is that?
DEAN: (still to the echo) Snap out of it, buddy, huh?
The ECHO turns and an intense light seems to be coming in front of him.
DEAN: Come on, what are you waiting for? You’re gonzo, you’re dead!
Suddenly, something big and invisible hits the echo which disappears after being pushed back as if run over by a train.
All gasp in surprise.
ED: Where the hell did it go?
FADE TO BLACK – IMAGES OF THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE
BACK TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
SAM, DEAN, ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE are walking.
MAGGIE follows DEAN, who is talking to SAM.
DEAN: Dude, there’s no record of any of this here. No one got shot here, and obviously no one got run over by a freaking train. Stay close.
MAGGIE: Did the echoes take Corbett?
DEAN: Yes -- No, I don’t know. We don’t know what’s doing what here, that’s what we’re trying to figure out, okay?
SAM: Stay close. (sees MAGGIE’s expression) Okay, look, um, death echoes are ghosts, okay? Now, ghosts, they usually haunt places where they lived or where they died.
DEAN: Except these mooks didn’t live or die here.
SAM: Right.
MAGGIE: So what are they doing here?
DEAN: (turns to face her and smirks) Hey, give the lady a cigar. Alright, seriously, does looking at this nightmare through that camera makes you feel better or something? I mean…
MAGGIE: Um… I, uh… (lowers the camera for a second) Oh, yeah. Uh, yeah, I think so, Mm-hm.
DEAN: Oh.
They enter another room, with stuffed animals on the walls. They start searching for clues.
SAM: (holding an old certificate he just found) Freeman Daggett, house’s last owner. Officially commended for 20 years of fine service at the Gamble General Hospital.
DEAN: He’s a doctor?
SAM: Janitor.
DEAN: This looks like his den. When did you say he died? ’64?
SAM: Yeah, heart attack.
MAGGIE: (looking at a pile of cardboard boxes and cans) What are these, C rations?
DEAN: Yeah, army-issued, three squares. Like a lifetime supply.
MAGGIE: God, is that all he ate?
DEAN: One-stop shopping. (goes to a locker on the wall) Hello. Locked.
ED: Oh, come on, guys. This is ridiculous. I mean, how the hell is this supposed to find Corbett? Huh? We should be digging up the frigging floorboards right now.
SAM: (looking through old papers and reading the title of a book) Huh. Survival Under Atomic Attack. An optimist.
DEAN smashes the locker door open and takes the box that was inside. ED is testing everything with his EMF, which annoys DEAN. DEAN puts the metal box on the table and starts searching inside.
DEAN: (taking out old papers) Crap. Crap. Taxidermy, okay. (finding something) You said Daggett was a hospital janitor?
SAM: Yeah.
DEAN: (holding 3 toe-tags) Ew. We got three toe tags here. One, death by gunshots, train accident, and suicide.
SAM: Ew.
ED: (not understanding) What?
SAM: Well, that explains why all the death echoes are here. (ED and HARRY still look confused) They’re here, because their bodies are here, somewhere in the house.
HARRY: What?
DEAN: Daggett brought the remains home from the morgue… To play.
ED and HARRY: (look at each other, puzzled, and after a while) Eeeew!
SPRUCE: That’s nasty, dude.
SAM: Right.
DEAN: (notices something) Wait a minute.
CUT TO: INT. MORTON HOUSE, NIGHT
MAGGIE is walking alone with a flashlight and her camera, looking for CORBETT.
MAGGIE: (panting) Corbett! (startled by her reflection in an old mirror, she gasps) Okay, Maggie.
Her camera starts to flicker. She turns around to find DEAN, which startles her. She gasps.
DEAN: Closer to the herd, okay?
HARRY: Maggie? Maggie?
DEAN: She’s fine.
ED: Harry. Harry, I got an 8.6 and climbing fast. Something huge is coming. Look. Something big is coming.
The EMF starts emitting a long, alarming sound, and the cameras are have static, again.
HARRY: It’s past 11, you guys.
SPRUCE: What’s happening?
SAM: (from his corner of the room) Nobody move.
DEAN: Hold on, hold on, stay quiet.
SAM suddenly disappears from where he was standing during the camera distortion.
SPRUCE: What’s going on?
DEAN: Sam?
MAGGIE: Ed.
ED: Must be the surge.
DEAN: (worried) Sam?
SPRUCE: Where did he go?
MAGGIE: Oh no.
DEAN stands where SAM was standing a few seconds earlier and picks up SAM’s flashlight from the floor where it fell.
SPRUCE: Oh.
DEAN: (really worried, screams) Sam!

CONTINUING
DEAN, ED, HARRY, SPRUCE and MAGGIE are looking for SAM.
DEAN: Sammy!
ED: Sam!
SPRUCE: Yo! Talk to us!
ED: Corbett, Corbett!
DEAN: Sammy!
MAGGIE: Sam!
SPRUCE: Corbett! Corbett!
HARRY: Corbett!
DEAN: Sam!
MAGGIE, panting, is standing next to HARRY. In the background, DEAN is still calling SAM.
MAGGIE: God, I’m so scared. I’m so scared!
HARRY: (trying to calm MAGGIE) It’s gonna be okay. It’s gonna be okay, Maggie. (moves closer and kisses MAGGIE)
ED: (from a bit further) Corbett!
SPRUCE is filming HARRY and MAGGIE who are kissing, and he hums some 70’s funk music. ED is coming back and notices his sister and HARRY who are still kissing.
SPRUCE: (looking at ED) Whoa.
ED stares at them.
MAGGIE is moaning, then gasps when she notices her brother. She quickly moves away from HARRY.
ED: (shocked) My best friend… And my best sister…
HARRY: (scared) Ed?
ED: (angry) Harry.
HARRY: Ed.
ED: Harry!
HARRY: Ed, listen, Ed --
ED: Are you banging my sister?
HARRY: (very high-pitched voice) No! No.
ED: (to SPRUCE, who is still filming the whole thing) Hold my glasses.
SPRUCE: You got it.
ED runs and tries to punch HARRY.
HARRY: Ed, Ed, Ed!
ED and HARRY are fighting.
SPRUCE: Guys. Guys!
MAGGIE: Ed, get off! You guys, stop!
SPRUCE: You guys are in trouble.
DEAN: (arrives and splits them) Hey, hey, hey! The **** (BLEEP and skull) are you doing? Cut it out! (disapprovingly, to HARRY and ED) We’re down by two people! (rolls his eyes and goes back looking for SAM) Sam!
ED: (not happy) Great.
DEAN: (in the background) Sammy!
HARRY: Sorry.
ED: (not looking sorry at all) I’m sorry. (to SPRUCE) You got my glasses? (takes his glasses) He got my -- my tooth there?
SPRUCE: Uh, no.
ED: I won that, right?
SPRUCE: Yup, you’re good.
ED goes away. HARRY and MAGGIE are looking both angry and embarrassed.
HARRY: Thanks, Spruce.
SPRUCE: Yeah, it’s my fault.
MAGGIE: That’s great. That’s nice. Thanks.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DAGGETT’S LAIR
Lesley Gore’s “It’s my Party” is playing. CORBETT wakes up to the sound of SAM’s voice; he’s tied to a chair.
SAM: Corbett.
CORBETT groans.
SAM: Corbett. Corbett. Hey, wake up man. Corbett, hey.
CORBETT fully opens his eyes, to see a table covered with confetti, a decayed cake and various party supplies, and corpses with party hats on sitting around the table. He’s facing Sam, who is also tied to a chair.
CORBETT: Sam?
SAM: Hey, you gotta keep listening to my voice, okay? I’m right here. Stay awake.
Freeman DAGGETT’s spirit appears around the table.
DAGGETT: Don’t listen to him. (picking up a kind of knife from the table) It stops hurting, so don’t worry.
CORBETT starts whimpering, terrified.
SAM: Corbett, stay with me. Stay with me, you got it? I’m right here. Hey, stay with me. (notices DAGGETT standing right beside CORBETT with his knife) Don’t! Don’t! No!
DAGGETT stabs CORBETT all the way through his throat. CORBETT gasps, then dies as DAGGETT removes the weapon.
SAM: Corbett! No! Corbett!
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
OTHER FLOOR
DEAN, ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE are still looking for SAM and CORBETT.
ED: Corbett?
SPRUCE: Where did you go?
MAGGIE: Where are you, guys?
DEAN is still looking for clues.
HARRY: Dean, what are you doing?
DEAN: Okay, so Daggett was a Cold-War nut. Okay, he was an amateur taxidermist. He liked to slow dance with cadavers and all he ate was C rations. So what the hell are we looking for?
MAGGIE: A horrible little life.
DEAN: A lonely life. A Cold-War life. (realizes something) He was scared. He was scared, he was scared! (runs looking for something)
HARRY: Scared of what? What?
ED: Where are you going?
MAGGIE: Wait, wait, wait, don’t leave me in here, guys!
ED: Wait, Dean!
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DAGGETT’S LAIR
SAM is still tied to his chair, with DAGGETT approaching.
SAM: Get away from me. (struggles against the rope)
DAGGETT: (bending over SAM) This won’t hurt. It’s okay. It’s okay. Relax. Relax. (straps a party hat on SAM’s head)
SAM is breathing heavily and still fighting against the rope.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DEAN, ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE are going down a flight of stairs.
MAGGIE: (to DEAN) Where are you going?
DEAN: Guys like Daggett back then, the ones that were really scared of the Russkies, they built bomb shelters. I’m guessing he’s got one. (finds the door to the basement) I’ll bet you it’s in the basement.
DEAN opens the door to the basement and gets in, SPRUCE follows. The door slams shut right behind them.
ED and HARRY: Whoa!
ED: That is not funny. How many times--? (tries to open the door)
SPRUCE: (from his side of the door) Uh, who closed the door?
DEAN: It did. It wants to separate us. (talks to the others through the door) Ed, listen to me. There’s some salt in my duffle. Make a circle and get inside.
ED and HARRY exchange puzzled looks.
ED: (whispering to HARRY) Inside his --?
HARRY: (whispering) That’s stupid.
ED: (through the door) Inside your duffle bag?
DEAN: In the salt, you idiot!
HARRY: Oh, okay.
ED: Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
ED, HARRY and MAGGIE go fetch the salt, while DEAN and SPRUCE are going downstairs to the basement. DEAN looks around with his flashlight.
ED is making a circle with the salt from DEAN’s bag.
ED: Hey, hurry up! Get in the circle, get in the circle! Come on, come on, quick, quick!
ED puts down the salt and they get in the circle.
HARRY: Guys, guys, I don’t wanna die, okay? And I don’t want you to--
ED: Hey, listen to me, okay? Listen. If we don’t die, it’s totally okay if you, uh, do my sister. (MAGGIE punches him) Ow!
MAGGIE: Nice. (looks at her camera, flickering) Guys. Hey, guys. It’s coming again.
ED: Oh oh, okay. Oh, God. Get in close, get in close. Why does this keep happening?
They regroup tightly inside the circle.
HARRY: Oh my God.
ED: (turning to look at what is coming, which is CORBETT’s death echo) Oh, God. It’s Corbett.
CORBETT-echo stands in the middle of the room, whimpering, then gasping as a hole appears in his throat.
ED: Corbett…
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASEMENT
DEAN is still looking around for the door to the bomb shelter.
SPRUCE: Hey, can I ask you something?
DEAN: What?
SPRUCE: Earlier, you and Sam, he said you had two months left?
DEAN: (still searching) Yeah, it’s complicated. A while ago, Sam -- (notices that SPRUCE is still filming, chuckles) No, no, no. I’m not gonna whine about my ******* (BLEEP and skull) problems to some ******* (other BLEEP and skull) reality show. I’m gonna do my ******* (BLEEP and skull) job! (goes back to his search)
SPRUCE: Is it cancer?
DEAN: Shut up. (stands in front of a wall) You hear that?
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DAGGETT’S LAIR
The music is still playing. DAGGETT picks up his knife again and turns to SAM.
DAGGETT: I’ve been waiting for some more friends. I get lonely. But you’re coming to my party, aren’t you?
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASEMENT
DEAN is indentifying the source of the noise.
SPRUCE: Is that music?
DEAN: Yeah, it’s coming from behind this wall. (moves the heavy shelf from the wall to reveal a door)
SPRUCE: (sarcastically) Wow, you’re strong.
DEAN gives him the finger, which is post-production-like blurred to hide it.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DAGGETT’S LAIR
DAGGETT is still talking to SAM, who is still struggling.
DAGGETT: You’ll stay a good, long time.
DEAN forces his way inside the room just as DAGGETT is about to kill SAM.
DEAN: Sam!
DEAN shoots DAGGETT with rock salt. DAGGETT disappears. DEAN goes to free SAM while SPRUCE is looking around.
SPRUCE: (sees the corpses with their party hats) Oh my God. (finds CORBETT) Oh, no, Corbett…

BASE CAMP
ED, HARRY and MAGGIE are sitting in the salt circle.
ED: (moving back and forth in despair) Oh, God, what have we done? Oh, Corbett.
HARRY: (puts his hand on ED’s shoulder) Ed. Ed.
ED: Yeah?
HARRY: Corbett’s -- He’s a death echo. He’s, uh, reliving his own murder.
MAGGIE: Over and over, forever.
ED looks appalled.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
DAGGETT’S LAIR
SAM has been untied by DEAN. SPRUCE is still filming. They start walking towards the door.
SPRUCE: What’s this Daggett guy’s problem anyway?
SAM: Loneliness.
DEAN: Has he never heard of a RealDoll?
SAM: No, no, no, Daggett was the Norman Bates, stuff-your-mother, kind of lonely. I mean, that’s why he lifted these bodies from the morgue. He threw himself a birthday party, except they were the only ones who would come. Anyway, so at midnight, he sealed them in the bomb shelter and went upstairs, and OD’d on horse tranqs.
DEAN: How do you know this?
SAM: Because he told me.
DEAN: Oh.
SAM: Yeah.
DEAN: Okay, so now that he’s dead, what? Same song, different verse, trying to get people come to his party? (nods towards CORBETT’s dead body)
SAM: Pretty much, yeah. Stay forever.
DEAN reloads his shotgun.
SPRUCE: Those real bullets?
DEAN: It’s rock salt.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASE CAMP
ED, HARRY and MAGGIE are still sitting in the circle.
HARRY: (singing to try to give them courage) Ghostfacers, we go to places where the others will not, Ghostfacers, stay in the kitchen when the kitchen gets hot…
The camera flickers again.
MAGGIE: Guys.
CORBETT’S ECHO appears again, whimpering, his throat bleeding.
ED: Oh, no.
MAGGIE: Oh, Corbett.
ED: (looking at CORBETT’S ECHO, thinks) Wait, guys. Guys, it’s -- it’s Corbett. He’s -- He’s trapped. He’s in a lot of pain, you know? We gotta -- We gotta try… We got to try and put him out of his loop. (pauses) We have to. (stands up)
HARRY: Ed.
ED: (takes a step to the salt line) Corbett? Corbett, it’s -- (looks at the line)
HARRY: Don’t cross the line of salt.
ED: Oh, god. I gotta do it, Harry. (crosses the line) Corbett, listen to me. Okay, I’m not gonna hurt you. (gets closer) Listen. (gets close enough to touch the echo) Listen. Oh, God. Corbett. (CORBETT flickers) Oh, my God. (retreats)
HARRY: Get back here. Get back.
ED: (back behind the salt line, faces HARRY) I can’t, okay? He’s -- He’s not hearing me, okay? He -- he won’t stop dying.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASEMENT
DEAN is trying to break the door open.
SAM: (notices SPRUCE filming) Seriously? You’re still shooting?
DEAN: (to SAM) It makes him feel better. Don’t ask. (resumes hitting the door, with no success) God.
SPRUCE’s camera flickers.
SPRUCE: Oh, hell, guys. Get in your ghost role thing. Something’s coming. (turns and finds himself right in front of DAGGETT) Oh, my God!
DAGGETT throws SPRUCE through the room. SPRUCE crashes and grunts. DAGGETT is coming to him, but SAM shoots DAGGETT and rushes to SPRUCE.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASE CAMP
ED, HARRY and MAGGIE are in the circle, CORBETT’S ECHO keeps dying nearby.
HARRY: (thinks, then) I-- I know how we can get through to him.
ED: How?
HARRY: Ed. (looks at CORBETT) He had feelings for you.
ED: (not understanding) Huh?
HARRY: (emphasizes) He wanted you.
ED: Wha--? Wanted me to what?
HARRY: You know…
ED: No.
HARRY: (looks at MAGGIE, who is still shooting the whole thing, for help, then makes a gesture meaning sexual intercourse) And you know what you‘ve gotta do. (ED looks shocked) You can do it, Ed. (ED shakes his head) You’ve always been the brave one. Yes, you can. You make us brave. (turns to MAGGIE for approval) Maggie, right?
MAGGIE: Yeah, yes you do, you totally do.
HARRY: Ed, you gotta go be gay for that poor dead intern. (points at CORBETT, gasping in the background) You gotta send him into the light.
ED looks at CORBETT, then takes a step towards him. He crosses the line carefully.
ED: Corbett?
HARRY and MAGGIE are looking at him anxiously, and still filming. MAGGIE also crosses the line.
HARRY: Maggie. No, no, Maggie.
MAGGIE: No, it’s okay. Don’t worry. (gets closer to film ED and CORBETT)
ED: Corbett, look. Hey, it’s just Ed, buddy. It’s just me. (CORBETT’S ECHO is agonizing) Hey, hey Corbett, listen to me. Listen to me. I’m-- We-- (starts crying) Okay. You meant-- Corbett, you meant a lot to the team. You meant… You meant a lot to me. You know, never ever back down, never said a bad word, okay? I remember that, Corbett. I-- I remember that, I remember because I love you, Corbett (gets even closer). I really, truly love you.
CORBETT stops agonizing.
ED: Do you remember that? Do you?
CORBETT seems to get out of his loop.
CORBETT: Hey. Ed? (smiles)
ED: Yeah. Yeah, Corbett, it’s-- Corbett, yeah, it’s me. It’s me. Look at me. You gotta help us, man. You have to help us, Corbett. Please, please. Please, help us right now.
CUT TO: MORTON HOUSE, INT. NIGHT
BASEMENT
SAM is checking if SPRUCE is okay. DEAN is looking around with his flashlight.
SAM: Take it easy. You all right?
SPRUCE: (seeing his camera flickering again) Uh, Guys?
DAGGETT appears behind DEAN. DEAN turns, and GAGGETT throws him against a wall.
SAM: Hey! Come here! **** (BLEEP and skull)
DAGGETT attacks SAM.
SPRUCE: (while DAGGETT is coming for him) This is bad. Very bad.
Another flicker of the camera. DAGGETT turns and CORBETT is standing behind him.
SPRUCE: Corbett?
CORBETT rushes to DAGGETT and their spirits fight in a mixture of light and smoke. There’s a bigger flash and the camera stops.
CONTINUING
DEAN and SAM are on the floor.
SPRUCE: (to DEAN) You alright, dude?
DEAN grunts and gets back on his feet.
SPRUCE: (to SAM) You alright?
SAM groans and stands up. DEAN and SAM look at each other
SPRUCE: Oh, my God.
DEAN puts his hand over the camera.
FADE TO BLACK WITH GHOSTFACERS INTERTITLE
CUT TO: INSERT - MORTON HOUSE, EXT. DAY
SPRUCE, ED, SAM, DEAN, MAGGIE and HARRY are getting out of the house.
ED IN VOICE-OVER: Leap year, February 29th, the Morton House. A tragic day. A day of souls bound in torment, of lives held in cruel balance. But the Ghostfacers, they did the best that they could. (we see MAGGIE and HARRY hug.)
HARRY IN VOICE-OVER: We lost a beloved friend, but we gained new allies. (we see SAM giving ED a piece of paper and patting him on the shoulder, then SAM and DEAN turn to get to their car)
ED IN VOICE-OVER: We know this much: that every day, including today, is a new beginning.
END OF INSERT - CUT TO: HOUSE, INT. DAY
ED and HARRY sitting in their armchairs in front of the fireplace.
ED: We learned more than we can say in the brutal feat of the Morton House.
HARRY: The Ghostfacers were forced to face something far more scary than ghosts. They were forced to face themselves.
ED: (in a solemn thumbs-up motion) War changes man.
HARRY: (turns to ED) And Maggie.
ED: (resumes) War changes man… And one woman. (scoffs, then looks down) You know, Corbett, we just… Oh, gosh, we just like to think that you’re out there watching over us.
HARRY: As far as we’re concerned, you’re not an intern anymore. You have more than earned full Ghostfacer status. (pauses, and turns to ED) Plus, it’d be cool to have a ghost on the team.
ED: Yeah. And here we were thinking that, you know, we were teaching you… And all this time, you were teaching us, about heart, about dedication. About how gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day. Thank you, Alan J. Corbett.
HARRY: Go well into that starry night, young Turk.(ED turns to look at him) Go well.
INSERT - EXT. DAY
CORBETT is loading some equipment into the Ghostfacers van. SPRUCE is filming.
CORBETT: (panting) Come on, Spruce, I gotta get all this stuff packed up.
SPRUCE: So? Pack and talk!
CORBETT: I don’t know what to say.
SPRUCE: Say what comes to mind. (CORBETT chuckles) This is one of our confessional moments, Corbett, so confess. What’d you think is gonna happen tonight? What do you think’s gonna happen tonight on this trip?
CORBETT: (sighs, then turns to the camera) I think tonight, I really do, I think all our dreams are gonna come true. (turns back to the van, then to SPRUCE) Does that sound stupid?
SPRUCE: Kinda does, yeah.
CORBETT chuckles, then smiles to the camera.
END OF INSERT
CARD SAYING: “In Memory of Alan J. Corbett, 1985 - 2008
King of the Impossible”
END OF “GHOSTFACERS” - BACK TO NORMAL SHOT
The zoom goes out, and we see that the card was on a computer, with SAM and DEAN sitting in front of it. They have just watched the whole episode in the Ghostfacers HQ. ED, HARRY, MAGGIE and SPRUCE are standing behind them with a beer, waiting to see their reaction to this first episode of Ghostfacers.
ED: So guys, what do you think?
DEAN wipes his eyes.
ED: You alright?
DEAN: (chuckles) You know, I kind of think it was half awesome.
MAGGIE: Half awesome? That full-on good, right?
DEAN and SAM exchange a meaningful glance. DEAN reaches into the bag next to his feet and clicks something on while SAM is speaking.
SAM: Yeah. I mean, it’s bizarre how y’all are able to, uh, honor Corbett’s memory while grossly exploiting the manner of his death, well done.
DEAN: (sitting upright again, as if nothing happened) Yeah. No, it’s a real tight rope you guys are walking.
SAM and DEAN get up and go for the door.
SAM: Yeah. All right, guys.
ED: (after a pause) No, that’s reality, man. (SAM and DEAN turn back to face him) Yeah. Corbett gave his life searching for the truth, and it is our job over here (shows the other Ghostfacers) to share it with the world.
SAM: Right. Well, um, our experience, you know what you get when you show the world the truth?
DEAN: A straightjacket. Or a punch in the face. Sometimes both.
SAM: Right.
HARRY: (chuckles) Come on, guys, don’t be Facer haters because we happen to have gotten the footage of the century.
ED: Oh, yeah.
SAM and DEAN look at each other, then wince.
DEAN: You got us there.
SAM: Yeah.
DEAN: Yeah. Well, we’ll see you guys around.
SAM salutes them with a little hand gesture, to which MAGGIE responds.
ED: Yeah.
SPRUCE: Peace out.
SAM and DEAN leave the room. ED closes the door.
HARRY: (pauses, then) Dicks.
ED: Oh, yeah.
MAGGIE: Totally.
SPRUCE: Yup. Let’s start laying off some DVDs.
HARRY: That sounds like a good idea, Spruce. You know, guys, I think we’re gonna need a bigger office here. (ED finds the bag that SAM and DEAN left under the table) You know, ‘cause we’re gonna go national, then it’s gonna go international, and-- (sees ED holding the bag)
ED: Menudo left their dance bag behind. (they all chuckles)(singsong) What’s inside? (takes out a weird looking electronic device) Huh? Whoa. What the hell is this?
Immediately after he takes the device out of the bag, the computer screens start having static.
SPRUCE: (sitting in from of the screen he was about to put the DVD on) Uh, seem to be having some technical difficulty over here.
The data starts being erased.
HARRY: Wait, wait, wait!
ED: No, no, no!
HARRY: Wait! “No operating system found”? Wait a minute!
CUT TO: EXT. HOUSE, DAY
SAM and DEAN are going to their car, which was parked in front of the Zeddmores’ House. They turn to look at the garage.
SAM: We clean?
ED and HARRY: (screaming in the background) No!
ED: Are you kidding me?
HARRY: No, this can’t be happening!
SAM and DEAN smile.
ED: Harry, harry. No!
SAM and DEAN get into the car.
DEAN: Electromagnet. Wiped out every tape and hard drive they have.
SAM: World just isn’t ready for the Ghostfacers.
DEAN: That’s too bad, I kinda liked the show.
SAM: (chuckles) Had its moments.
DEAN starts the engine and they drive away to the sound of the Ghostfacers Theme Song.
ED VOICE-OVER: That is money in the bank.
